About
Emily Raubenheimer is an Australian artist living and working in rural Victoria, where she paints from her garden studio overlooking the Campaspe River. Known for her joyful use of colour and expressive still life arrangements of domestic interiors, Emily’s paintings celebrate the emotional charge of ordinary moments.
After completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Monash University and a Teaching degree at the University of Melbourne, Emily spent many years teaching before returning to her painting practice. She continues to teach painting to students from around the country, sharing her knowledge of colour, composition and creative practice.
Emily’s paintings have been exhibited through Jumbled in Orange, shown at Affordable Art Fair Brisbane and Sydney, and collected by art lovers across Australia. Her work has also been featured in Home Beautiful, and numerous other print features. She has appeared as a guest speaker on The Creative Kind Podcast, Colour Me Happy Podcast and Creative Life Podcast, where she has spoken about painting, creativity, colour and building a sustainable creative practice.
Working primarily in acrylic, Emily creates paintings that feel both nostalgic and fresh, often pairing flowers with patterned cloths, vintage books, fruit, glass vessels and glimpses of rural life. Her work celebrates colour as a source of connection, memory and everyday joy.
The Colour Club is a subscription designed to bring a little colour to your life, month by month.
Each month, a signed A5 print based on one of my original paintings arrives in the mail. Printed on quality recycled paper using sustainable inks, each artwork is chosen especially for the club and sent as a small surprise.
Over time, you’ll build a collection of works that can be framed, pinned, gifted, or simply lived with. Think of it as a little bunch of flowers arriving each month. Something joyful, thoughtful, and just for you.
Once a month, one Colour Club subscriber will be randomly selected to receive an original A5 drawing or painting as a surprise gift.
If you’re gifting a Colour Club subscription, please reach out via email after purchasing. I’m happy to include a small card with a handwritten note from you, making it an especially thoughtful gift.
